Why does OpenClaw show pairing required or origin not allowed on Yamify?

I installed OpenClaw from Yamify Marketplace and I get one of these errors:

  • pairing required
  • device identity required
  • origin not allowed

What is the durable fix that survives restarts and updates?

Durable OpenClaw fix on Yamify:

  1. Ensure gateway origin/trusted-proxy settings include your deployment host.
  2. Persist OpenClaw data directory so gateway identity survives pod restart.
  3. Run one-time device approval bootstrap after deployment/update.
  4. Verify ingress host, TLS cert readiness, and service endpoints.

If you still see errors, redeploy OpenClaw in the same workspace with a new host prefix and compare gateway logs.
